2024 Gold Coast marathon, Adelaide Ultra, Restonica Ultra by UTMB

🏃‍♂️ Amazing weekend of racing for the Hungry Runners! 🌟

Adelaide 50k (56km):

- Billy: Managed a great run and finished 4th overall despite a few wrong turns. Your hard work and mindset are paying off!

- Leanne: Paced her run perfectly and finished 11th female. Big achievement, especially considering your preparation was put on hold a few times due to work commitments. You are one tough runner!

- Lynn: Finished 28th female (2nd AG). We worked hard on your nutrition and pacing, and it’s so rewarding to see you run well during such a tough event!

Restonica Ultra by UTMB:

- Luke: Congrats on finishing this insanely hard event for the second time! 111km with 7200m gain on technical trails. Luke managed a well-paced run and handled emotions much better. 24hr17, 64th overall, and 3rd in AG!

GC Marathon:

Half Marathon:

- Mel: Pulled out a great run and finished sub 2hr, goal ticked! Congrats, training consistency pays off!

- Liz: Managed a sub 90min run and finished 3rd in her AG! We are seeing results on the HM, even if it isn’t your favourite distance!

- Carmen: Got sick not long before the event, and we had a sub 90min in mind but thought it wasn't achievable anymore. She nearly proved us wrong, ticking a 01:30:11. Brilliant run!

Marathon:

- Clint: Hats off for managing an outstanding race and finishing in 02hr36:26. This result means so much because of the amount of dedication and hard work put into the preparation. Congrats, really impressive!

- Bella: Had the smoothest preparation and nailed pretty much every session. Unfortunately, she got a cold in the lead-up, making her run much harder than anticipated! She got so close to her 03hr30 goal by running in 03hr34:40, a 13min PB! Well done!

- Mitch: Finished a very well-prepared marathon in 04hr12. That's a brilliant effort. Your dedication to this preparation was admirable, and for someone that struggles with the heat, you handled summer training very well!

- Bec: Managed a 04:07:54, pacing her run beautifully until the end. Great effort!

- Amy: Ran the marathon in 05:34:07. A few things came in the way of her preparation, and she decided to approach the run as a tough long run in preparation for Blackall 100.
