Hungry Runners Race Update 30/10/2016
Sunday we had two Hungry Runners racing in the Outer Limits Paluma Dam Good trail run event. Once again it was good fun running on Paluma rainforest technical trails. This was the last 2016 Outer Limits trail run, we are waiting for the 2017 calendar to know which dates to add to our calendars!
On the 20km distance we had Luke, ranking second after a sprint finish. 1h56:59, only 0.6secs behind Ben the winner. Tough finish, congratulations for such an effort. The third competitor is more than 14 minutes behind!
On the 10km we had Jill, she managed a top 3 in her category, despite a fall. 2h39, congratulations.
In Noosa multisport festival, Mick raced the Olympic distanced triathlon, and managed a great run. With a time of 2h27 he ranked 434 overall (on 4066) and 38th in his age group. Great effort!
